Call Dukes to make a payment over the telephone with an Operator
What number should I call to make a payment?
You can call our office on 01785 825 500 or use Livechat to request a free call back service.
If you account has been passed to an Enforcement Agent(EA), you will be unable to use this service and must call the EA to make payments directly with him/her.
When can I make a payment?
Office opening hours are Monday - Friday, 8am -8pm. Saturday 8am-2pm. (Subject to change during bank holidays, or seasonal holidays)
Should you be unable to make with an operator you can call our 24 hour automated telephone payment line.
Can I pay by Credit card?
No. We only accept payments from debit cards.
Do I need my Dukes reference number To make a payment?
Yes. In addition to your Dukes reference number, please have your postcode and the debit card that you wish pay with, to hand.
My preferred method of payment is debit card. Do I need to ring Dukes every time I need to make a payment if I have an arrangement in place?
No. For arrangements we have introduced a system that will automatically take a card payment for an agreed amount on an agreed date(s). To qualify to use this facility a minimum payment is required to clear part of the outstanding balance.
The benefit of re-occurring card payments is you don’t have to contactDukes on the date of your arrangement to make payment. Payment will be processed automatically. What’s more, if you make a payment prior to your arrangement date, the balance required on the next instalment date will be automatically adjusted to ensure no overpayment. The automatic payments will stop once the debt is cleared.
No card details are stored at Dukes. The details of the card you use to make payment will be encrypted on to the payment system.
